The characters have distinct and lovable personalities and I especially loved Marla the clever Venusian lady with the refined and gentle voice who was always one step ahead of her boss Col Raeburn. I would love to see more of their episodes if it were possible. The theme could be described as the predecessor of the modern day equivalent Star Trek. I for one will never forget Space patrol.Robert Knoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2305571058310227787.post-31380400206004065942017-03-10T00:45:48.676-05:002017-03-10T00:45:48.676-05:00I like this show. I know the character is supposed to be male but it looks and sounds very feminine. Just sayin....mr. One thing that might have lead to its cancellation is the way some of the characters were handled. In particular, Raeburn and Haggarty could be downright mean, especially to each other.

Larry Dart had his moments, too. Remember the episode where they bring a "space cat" on board and rather thoughtlessly let the thing die? Husky says something to the effect that "maybe it's just sleeping" to which Dart replies, rather matter-of-factly, "no, it's dead." The End. Fade to black. Maybe I had to around to see it back then (I was born in '65) or maybe it's just a British thing, but that and other occasional exchanges were pretty off-putting to me. Okay, they're kinda funny, too. It's just surprising to see on a kid's show.

Anyway, good article!Ochttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12724394535380369270noreply@blogger.com
